Your sensational lakeside chalet awaits you!! Donnelly Lakes specializes in accommodation for those wishing to have "time out" at a secluded and private resort.A sort of holiday within a holiday....
Donnelly Lakes is a nature lovers paradise with over 80 varities of birds documented, spot lighting in the evening to view the mobs of kangaroos which frequent the property and per chance to view the shy nocturnal marsupial animals and in the spring time an array of orchids and native flowers.
The self guided bush walk allows you to explore the flood plains with the 1 km bordering Donnelly River, the lakes which interconnect for 7 months of the year forming a water system and the forests.
Each chalet comes with a complimentary canoe for you to explore the 5 acre lake, or why not just dangle your feet from one of the 4 jetties and toss in a line to tease the trout..... or smile at the antics of the visiting ducks....
The property includes many surprises aimed to open up conversation and to put a smile on your face... like our swamp monster, our avenue of potted thoughts and "big kids playground" for the kid in all of us....and we even have a puzzel for you to find the proof or exsistence of certain things on this exclusive property...
You wont want to leave.... We cater well for the discerning holiday maker who want more than just accommodation!
Honeymooners, overseas travelers, fisher folk, and families looking for that memorable experience will find our service and facilities ideal. The chalets are so well equipped... with the little extras that you may require from plastic wrap to even tooth picks.
All you will need to bring are your immediated food requirements and your favourite things. Meals can be pre arranged.

Accommodating up to 23 guests the 5 chalets are either 1, 2 or 3 bedroom.The chalets are named after water birds - Teal, Ibis, Heron, Kingfisher and Spoonbill and each has its own special features.
Imagine .... Relaxing in your private spa on the veranda with that special person in your life and listening to the sounds of nature which surround you... the chorus of frogs, the fluttering of wings as the wild ducks land on the tranquil waters and the sound of the water hens which frequent the chalets.
Soak in the sights of the tranquil lake with the reflection of the stars and moon.
Teal is our "super deluxe" chalet with dual en suites. It is perfect for guests who prefer more superior accommodation.
No need to flip that coin! Teal was built specifically for two couples who like to travel together but enjoy the privacy of their own facilities. The chalet is large and superbly appointed.
Heron is tucked away to offer privacy. It has two bedrooms each with queen sized beds, perfect for two couples traveling together or a partner who snores! The special features in Heron make it popular as a honeymooners choice.
As with all the other chalets 'Heron' has colour co-ordinated soft furnishings of cushions on the two settees, lace curtains and standard lamp. The bedrooms with their touch lamps, Gainsborough bedspreads and soft vellux blankets all add to your comfort.
Kingfisher is a 2 bedroom chalet with 1 queen and 2 single beds. The kitchen facilities, as in all chalets, is extremely well equipped with oven, hot plates, micro wave oven and good sized 2 door fridge.
You can dine in style with a large selection of glasses and fine quality china and cutlery. Enjoy the visits of the friendly Splendid Wren as they go on their rounds visiting each chalet in turn, looking for that tit bit.
Ibis is a two bedroom chalet. It has a queen in one room and 2 singles (one of which may be made up as a bunk)in the other making it suitable for a group of 5.
Beautifully co-ordinated Ibis offers a large outdoor area with relatively flat ground around it making it more suitable for families. Expect a visit from our family of resident black ducks looking for some left over crust.
Spoonbill is our three bedroom chalet with 2 queen beds and 2 singles. This chalet is secluded and has a large patio area with special views of the lake as seen on our first page. The large spa which is perfect for groups has stunning views of the lake.

Location Description
Donnelly Lakes is located 43 km south of Nannup and 36 km north of Pemberton just off the Vasse Highway close to wineries, restaurants and galleries and fabulous nature based experiences.
